London, July 13 (ANI): Prince Harry drew a 400-pound booze bill in less than an hour during an outing with his flying school friends.
The 24-year-old royal, who is training to become a combat helicopter pilot in the British Army, was said to have guzzled five bottles of tequila-flavoured beer, 5.9 per cent Desperado, with his 20 rookie pilot friends.
The third in line to the British throne, apparently, stepped in the golf-themed pub crawl in Pringle-style golfing gear.
Jon Galley, from The Source Vodka Bar in Shrewsbury, said that the Prince even gave a senior officer a wedgie, yanking his boxers out of his trousers.
“Harry was going round hitting mates with a plastic golf club. When a senior officer, who seemed a lot older, went to the bar Harry ran up behind him and gave him a wedgie,” British tabloid The Sun quoted Jon as saying.
“The group spent about 400 pound in under an hour. Harry spilt a mate’s drink but had the decency to clear it up,” he added,
A source at RAF Shawbury added: “Harry and his intake are banned from drinking 12 hours before a flying sortie – so it is rare that they get a chance to let their hair down.” (ANI)
