London, July 16 (ANI): Michael Jackson’s brothers Tito and Jermaine turned down the opportunity to see the late singer one last time – as it was too heartbreaking.
Tito and Jermaine were called to say their goodbyes to the King of Pop as he lay in state at the Forest Hills Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
However, both brothers refused to look at the late singer’s open coffin – because they couldn’t bear to see his lifeless body.
“If I’d seen him there, that would have been my last memory of him. That would have stuck with me in my mind,” the Mirror quoted Tito as saying.
“I was given the chance to go there, and that left me imagining what it would look like, what Michael’s body would look like. Even now I have nightmares about it.
“Jermaine didn’t go either. He said his goodbyes at the hospital and didn’t want to see his brother in that state again,” he added. (ANI)
