Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty will visit “Celebrity Big Brother” co-contestant Jade Goody, for a last goodbye before she loses her battle with cancer.

The 33-year-old actress has been in regular touch with Goody on phone after realising her terminal illness, the Mirror reported online.

Shetty was unable to attend Goody’s wedding last month but will fly to meet her on March 18.

“She’s really hoping to get to see Jade one last time,” a friend of the actress said.

“She couldn’t go to the wedding because of filming commitments in India and would love to see her again if she is well enough. It all depends how Jade is feeling.”

The pair clashed on 2007’s “Celebrity Big Brother” but later made up. The 27-year-old Goody was starring on the India’s version of the show, hosted by Shetty, when she learned of her cancer in August last year.

Meanwhile, Goody is now back at home, and is said to be planning her funeral to be held at a church near her home in Upshire, Essex, and open to the public.

Spokesman Max Clifford said: “The funeral will be a celebration of Jade’s life, a reflection of how she’s lived the last seven years – full on.
